About the Event

Pack your camp chair and join us for a summer’s afternoon in August!

All women farmers, landowners and conservationists from Chippewa, Eau Claire, Clark and surrounding counties are welcome to attend-- whatever your background, from beginners to experts!

They are a mother-daughter duo, spending time with each other through their love of gardening and being outdoor. It was always been a dream of Maiv (pronounced "my") to own land and farm since she started farming in 1997. Pa, inspired by her mother, developed a deep love for gardening growing up. In 2022, their shared dream finally came true with the purchase of a 20 acre plot of land in the town of Wheaton. Their goal is to share with you the fruits of their labor and the abundance that the land offers. They invite you to immerse yourself in the beauty of Maiv Flower Farm, to pause, take a deep breath, and experience the tranquility of nature. Their hope is that their flowers and locally grown vegetables will not only nourish your body but also rejuvenate your soul and spirit. They'd love to have you join her in conversation about their practices and the culturally specifc foods they grow and process for the LFPA program.
