About the Event
Building Healthy Soil through Little Friends
What’s a key element of healthy soil? Making sure it’s a thriving, healthy habitat for the small but mighty creatures: insects. Learn how these soil dwelling invertebrates improve soil health, by breaking down organic matter, spreading beneficial fungi, and reducing pathogens. Discover which insects might already be on your land along with resources to increase beneficial populations. Connect with conservation experts, meet other inspiring Wisconsin women that share your love for the land and pollinators, and learn about NRCS resources to support your conservation goals.
